CLOSING OUT A HOMESTAND

Tip off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday in the big gymnasium.

LAST TIME OUT

Hannah Peterson and Ashleen Quirke scored a combined 40 points — 57.1% of the total points scored — and together rebounded 24 times, accounting for more than half of the Owls total rebounds.

SUPER OWLS AT HOME

They sure are fun to watch at home, aren’t they? Foothill Owls fans are used to the team’s home heroics by now, but the team still kept fans engaged through their dominating performance against the Monterey Peninsula Lobos on Friday. In addition to scoring an average of 73.6 points per game in their five home games, they also held their opponent to a measly 48.2 points per game; going 4-1 in their home games.

CABRILLO SEAHAWKS SCOUTING REPORT

Perhaps more than any other team, the Cabrillo Seahawks have given the Owls plenty of trouble over the course of this season. The Seahawks won a pivotal game in their first head-to-head matchup on January 5, and currently occupy the first place position in the Coast-South Conference, sitting two games ahead of the Foothill Owls. Their offense ranks top 5 in rebounds and assists and sits in the top 20 in points scored. They are currently on a 12 game winning streak, and look to continue their streak this Wednesday.
