From April 29th at 8:00 AM to May 1st at 11:59 PM, all Foothill students have the ability to vote in our ASFC Student Elections! We have a record amount of students running, so it’s important to vote and have your voice heard in who will be heading the ASFC for the next academic year!
Voting is super simple! First, log into your MyPortal for Foothill College, and then navigate towards your “Apps”. From here, look for the item titled “Foothill Student Elections” (you can even Ctrl + F to find it!). When you find it, click on it, and it will lead you to a page where there is a blue link titled “Online Voting System”. Click on that link and you’ll be taken to a page that will look similar to this:
Click on the link to which candidate you wish to vote for, and you will be taken to a page that looks like this:
Check the circle of the person you wish to vote for, and then click “Submit Your Vote”. There will be a prompt that pops up saying this:
Don’t worry, this is only the final selections for this page, not all the other candidates! After you vote, you will have a green check next to that category. Go through them all, and then you’re done!
Keep in mind that just because you didn’t meet the deadline to run in this election, that doesn’t mean you can’t participate in our student government! In the Fall, 30 positions will be open for application, so new students that are just attending Foothill and returning students who were not able to participate in the elections can still make an impact.
