Each year during International Education Week, Foothill comes alive with energy and stories from around the world, and this year, the International Students Program (ISP) is inviting everyone to come in and celebrate with us.
The first event kicks off on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at the Dining Hall, which will transform into a small theatre from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., as Global Lens will take over the screen with short films created by Foothill Media Studies students and alumni. These films dive into growing up, finding yourself, and what it means to navigate different cultures. It’s a chance to watch some amazing storytelling and see the world from someone else’s point of view.
The next event on Wednesday, November 19, which will take place at Dining Hall again for Walk Around the Globe, happening from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Think of it like traveling across countries in under an hour. Students from all over the world set up interactive displays where you can check out cultural artifacts, try new foods, and hear personal stories straight from their home countries. It’s vibrant, fun, and honestly one of the best ways to meet new people and learn something surprising.
Together, these events bring the heart of Foothill’s global community to life. So please swing by, explore, and celebrate what makes our campus so diverse and welcoming!
