★ Slave Castle(Elmina, Cape Coast)
Educated by a tour guide on the pain and agony, Africans went through. Learned about how Africans were captured, tortured, raped, and killed in these castles.
★ Educating Ghanian Children
The Foothill Umoja group traveled to the children’s school in Accra. Where the group taught children Spanish, English, Mathematics, and more.

Kente Creation
The Foothill Umoja group learned about the Ashanti tribes’ passed down legacy of kente cloth creation. Which can be made as a dress, carpet, and more.
Accra Zoo
Some of the Foothill Umoja group such as Khair, Noor, Eliana, and Jasmine went to visit the lively and beautiful zoo.
Cancacoon National Park
The Foothill Umoja group swallowed their fear of heights and was captivated by the National Parks’ beautiful scenery.
