We are excited to bring you Owlcast Episode 7, the last podcast of the winter quarter!
In this episode, Owlcast hosts Mike and Sean sit down with Dr. Scott Lankford, a professor, activist, and friend to many here on Foothill campus.
Having earned his PhD in Modern Thought and Literature at Stanford, Dr. Lankford is currently a Professor of English in the Foothill Honors Institute and an active co-founder and member of various Foothill circles which include the Foothill student Gay-Straight Alliance. Recently his primary focus has been creating a Climate-Change-across-the-Curriculum Program in conjunction with Stanford’s Educational Partnership to Internationalize the Curriculum (EPIC), as well as Stanford’s Environmental Humanities Project.
Join us as we hear Dr. Lankford’s perspectives on a myriad of topics from the history of the college and trailblazing an online LGBTQ course to using one of the first Macintosh computers on Mt. Everest and his visions for the college going forward!
