Foothill Football won their second game in a row last weekend, besting City College of San Francisco 38-24. The Owls increased their record to an impressive 6-2 (3-1 conf.), and currently sit in 2nd place in their inaugural Bay 6 Conference season.
The Owls had a great day rushing, with 229 yards on 40 rushing attempts as a team. RB Jordan Fuentes led the way with 95 yards on 25 carries, while RBs Jeaden Underwood, Jaleel Jones, and QB Raymond Price all had a rushing touchdown. WR Andre Jackson had another huge game, with 141 yards and a touchdown on only 4 catches (as well as 95 yards on 3 kickoff returns).
Foothill is currently ranked 14th in the state and are continuing to show that they belong in the Bay 6. College of San Mateo have already claimed the division title with a 4-0 conf. record, but with a CSM loss and an Owls win this weekend Foothill could set up a division title tie with the Bulldogs.
Foothill will travel to Stockton next week to play the struggling (0-8, 0-3 conf.) San Joaquin Delta College at 1pm on November 16th, hoping to put an exclamation point at the end of a statement first season in the Bay 6 Conference.
