Correction: The Foothill Men’s Basketball team’s winning playoff game last week was not the first in nine years. An article published on February 24th mistakenly claimed that the Owls had not won a playoff game in close to a decade, but the Owls have moved forward in playoffs as early as 2015. As a 17th seed that year, they reached the final 4 by beating the 16th seed, American River College; the 1st seed, Fresno City College; and the 9th seed, San Joaquin Delta College, before losing to the 5th seed Merritt College. They have also won a playoff game in 2014 —  as a 15th seed, they beat the 18th seed, De Anza College, before losing to the 2nd seed, Fresno City College.
